The 13^th Annual Center for Acoustics and Vibration (CAV) Workshop was held May 11-12, 2004 at the Penn Stater Conference Center. This year’s workshop focused on many of the new research initiative within the Center. The Workshop was opened with and introductory presentation by Dr. Gary Koopmann, Director of CAV. The keynote lecture was given by Dr. Jeremy Frank of KCF Technologies, Inc. and Ph.D. candidate Jacob Loverich. Their talk highlighted actuator development. Presentations were made by all eight Affinity Group Leaders, representatives from corporate sponsors and liaisons from out international links. A special presentation was given by Dr. Richard Benson, Head, Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Penn State.
